Government Notification

 

In exercise of the authority granted by Section 36.l of the Livestock Act of Bhutan 2001, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forests is pleased to issue the Livestock (Amendment) Rules and Regulations of Bhutan 2022 to facilitate the implementation of the Livestock Act of Bhutan 2001 and the additional livestock and pet management measures issued by the government vide Executive Order no. C- 4/2022/1400 dated October 3, 2022. The Livestock (Amendment) Rules and Regulations 2022 containing the amended provisions and additional provisions will come into enforcement with effect from 11th November 2022. It should be read in conjunction with the existing Livestock Rules and Regulations of Bhutan 2017.

The concerned agencies as mentioned in the Executive Order, Livestock Act ofBhutan 2001, Livestock Rules and Regulations of Bhutan 2017 and Livestock (Amendment) Rules and Regulations 2022 shall be responsible for its implementation.
